Interventions - At this time, we plan to start some intervention work the week of Sept. 13th. Amie, Susan, Michelle, Carol, Allison are working to establish a 'start-of-the-year' schedule/plan to best meet student needs, based on what we know from the spring. They will likely be working on gathering some more data on new students as well. Thank you for your patience with this process and welcoming Amie and Allison into your classrooms to observe and meet students. Also...when we do start intervention, I ask that classroom teachers be the first to communicate this additional support with parents. Interventionists will then follow up with specifics as to how the intervention will look.
Intervention Room/Book Room - Thank you for adjusting to the changes to the book room these last couple of years. With Allison and Amie now utilizing the space for a work area, please be mindful to not use this as a 'short-cut' means between the hallways. I certainly welcome you to continue utilizing the book room part as you need. I have moved around a number of the bins, so you may have to do some hunting to find those module bins. Sorry!
Safety Week - Week of Sept. 13 - More details to come. We will attempt to use Crisis Go again, but please continue to account for your students the same as we did in the past as well. Bring your binders and hold up the green side to show you have everyone, or show the red side if you are missing a student.
