Tom Pease - We are still planning on having Tom here on May 9th or 10th (weather permitting). The Tanner PAC will be in touch with me on this as we close out the week. AM time will be 9:30. PM time will be 12:45.
Need some time...TAKE IT!!! - please allow yourself to take a break! Do you need to get organized in you classroom? Do you need to pull students to do some assessing? Do you need to plan? Do you need time to just chill? Here is a list of suggestions for students to watch for a short bit of time while you take care of some necessary business or self-care within the classroom:

Staffing Updates - Below you will see some updates with our hiring. I have completed internal candidate reviews (contracted staff within all of KASD). I will be bringing a team together for a full day of interviews on May 12th to fill our 5K and 1st openings. Please let me know if you are interested in sitting in. I will not be able to take everyone. If you would like to provide feedback on what qualities you are looking for in a candidate please click here to fill out the google form. May 31 Lunch Change - we will have 2 entrées for lunch on May 31 - a hamburger or a hot dog. 5K...we will need to prepare for a plan with this. Likely bring back the entrée 1 and 2 cards we used to use. :)

Did you see the new wall?? - We have added a wall to the main office area. This wall is a first step in our renovation project. The wall provides the Health Office with a additional/private space for sick students and a little storage. We plan to utilize the current main office in a different way next year, but will still have the adult bathroom accessible (plus a new one too!).
Pink/Blue Sheets - Carol is working on these and will share with each specific teacher. Please have these ready by the end of the day on May 23. We will begin building class lists during collab. time on May 25th.
