January 21 - 5K Winter Wonderland! - At this time, we are planning to have an in-person winter celebration with 5K. We will limit this to two loved ones. Mrs. Josephson is working on a schedule for this to occur during morning specials. More details to come after the break.
FYI...Ronald McDonald House Charities - The pop tabs tower generated a donation of $166.20!
Attendance Codes Update -
- Attendance Code: CPV (covid participating virtually) should be used if a student is home due to anything related to covid and you have sent work home or your class is receiving virtual instruction. It would be the expectation that some type of participation in learning happens while they are out.
- Attendance Code : CRA (covid related absence) should be used if a student is out for something related to covid but is NOT participating in ANY type of learning while out. Example: you have heard absolutely nothing from the family and no work came back.
- Classroom teachers are unable to change an attendance code so you will need to connect (through email) with the AAs based on student's participation. This is important to watch because it does get reported to the state and impacts our school report card.
- Masking: If the number of positive cases warrants masking as a mitigation in a classroom (2-5 cases), a communication would be sent to parents and masking would begin the following day. We will not do mid-day masking.
Summer School - Please consider teaching a class, subbing or supporting a class as an EA this summer. We are a fun group! ;) Dates for 2022 are June 13- July 1. Let Erin Kape know if you are interested.

*Reinder* - EA Mtg. - I did not get a chance to share some of the discussion from the EA mtgs. last week. Here is a quick overview and reminders to share with students:
- Snow boundaries - video coming soon from Kayla & Sarah C.
- Ice & snow stay on the ground
- Respect all creations
- Students should only grab their own lunch card when coming in from recess
