PBIS Open House - After a great deal of discussion, the PBIS team has decided to change up the Open House plan this fall. We will not be having an event on Oct. 5th. We will be putting together a video that introduces all of our specialists to our families. We will then have a little scavenger hunt for families to complete at PT Conferences in November, which will include visits to the MAPEL areas and more. Please see myself or a PBIS team member with any questions.
Lunch - We will start our new lunch process on Tuesday. Playgrounds will be doubled up now. There will be a signal for students to know when to come inside. See below:

Music Position - We are still working on securing a music teacher. I'm hopeful to have a name moving forward to the board for approval very soon. In the meantime, Autumn Bartelt will continue to take over music.
Team Meetings w/Liz - You will notice some of these team/grade level meetings being scheduled after school. I plan to try it this way as during the school day just hasn't worked well in the past. I will likely try to get together with you on a monthly basis. Please send me any items you want discussed at those meetings.
Collaboration - Reminder - Math & ELA Collaboration will be noted in the staff bulletin on a regular basis. Please pay attention to those dates. As we hit October, I will be asking all teams to collab. on a separate day as well. These days could be utilized for a number of things including talking through lessons, behavior interventions, supporting one another, what's coming up, discussing standards, discussing assessments, etc. Please let me know if your team already has a set schedule for this as I'd like to make note of it.
Crisis Go - I'm pretty sure I did this wrong...again! I'll try again next month. :)
Chromebook Charging Station - Haen School has a couple of these charging stations available. One is accounted for already, but we may have 2-3 left. Please let me know if you are interested...specific to 5K teachers as it would only hold their small set.
